South Central Ohio Big Brothers Big Sisters serves Ross, Pickaway, Pike, Fayette, and Highland Counties. The agency began in Ross County in 1978. Pike and Pickaway counties were added in 1985. The agency expanded the service to Fayette County in 1992, and Highland County in 1999.
The agency is not a fee for service agency and all services are provided free of charge. The current agency budget is $350,000. The agency receives funding from the following sources:
-We are a contract agency of the Paint Valley ADAMH Board.
- Ross County United Way
- Pickaway County United Way
- Fayette County United Way
- Local and State grants- Special Events (Bowl For Kids Sake) and Golf Tournament
- Corporate and private donations
