About Us

South Central Ohio Big Brothers Big Sisters serves Ross, Pickaway, Pike, Fayette, Highland and Scioto Counties. The agency began in Ross County in 1978. Pike and Pickaway counties were added in 1985. The agency expanded the service to Fayette County in 1992 and to Highland County in 1999.  Our services expanded into Scioto County in January 2001. 

The agency is not a fee for service agency and all services are provided free of charge. The current agency budget is $370,500. The agency receives funding from the following sources:

-We are a contract agency of the Paint Valley ADAMH Board.

- Ross County United Way
- Pickaway County United Way
- Fayette County United Way
- Pike County United Way

- Local and State grants

- Special Events (Bowl For Kids Sake)

- Corporate and private donations
